Pot B Rules

Overview

This is the odds-based prediction competition to win prizes in Pot B of the annual Bitcointalk UEFA Champions League prediction pool.

Each Matchday users enter predictions on matches played during that Matchday staking points and winning based on outcome odds.

Points won for every Matchday are accumulated on the Leaderboard. Those with the most points accrued on the Leaderboard after the final win.

Each paying player is given a secret link to register their username and BTC wallet address.
After registering, they will receive a PIN to access the Pot B area each Matchday.
All details can be edited.
All selections can be edited up until the deadline of each Matchday.

Each Matchday all participants will be assigned 10 points. Think of this as your bankroll to bet on football.
You are free to assign these 10 points to any outcome available in the Matchday.
A maximum of 4 points can be staked per outcome.
Unused points do not carry over to the next Matchday.
Points are won if the correct outcome is selected. Points Staked * Odds and added to a Total. The Total is cumulative for all Matchdays.
Any player with 0 points won in a single Matchday will incur a 5% penalty to their current Total.

All outcomes are for regular time unless otherwise specified.
Points staked on postponed/abandoned matches will remain in play until official UEFA results are announced.
Tiebreaker rules are:
- Player with more higher-scoring Matchdays
- Player with earliest submission on final Matchday
Organisers reserve the right to determine all other ambiguities or decisions.
